Zambia - Scaled Sorghum Commercialization Project with CARE International

Posted by admin under Zambia

From July 2006 to August 2007, Josephine worked with CARE International in Zambia managing the Scaled Sorghum Commercialization Project. The project was to build a market value chain of sorghum combining stimulation of production, managing the processing and encouraging marketing of the transformed product. Through the 13 months working on this project, Josephine has trained over 1200 farmers, built and designed two sorghum small factories, and mass marketed the new products made.  Here arefew pictures of the process.
